Those of us who admire the work of great artists and the award winning images of outstanding photographers, marvel at the creativity of these artists. A little envious of their amazing abilities and natural talent. We look at our own photographs and wonder how we'll ever get anywhere near the masters. All is not lost or as bleak as it appears.

I know that in my photography experience I would look at these photographers, look at my work, try to copy theirs, fail and then give up. It became a cycle of failure and discouragement until I realised that I could actually take good photos. It wasn't an instant change but a process. What I realised was that the masters never painted a perfect picture the first time they held a brush nor the great photographers the first time they held a camera. They began their creative journey somewhere. The important part of the process was on the journey and how they developed along this road of learning. So, equating this to you and me we have to start somewhere. You need to make a conscious choice that you are starting a creative journey. You need a starting point, a point of departure. It's back to this point that you'll look and use it as a comparison to your future work.

With all this said and done, how do we start our creative journey? Let's take a look at a few points that will get you going:

1. Discover your area of passion

It's sometimes necessary to discover your passion as we often keep these areas of ours lives hidden for various reasons. Society says that a man shouldn't like flowers or a woman can't get excited by motorcycles. So it's essential to rediscover what excites us and what makes our creativity tick. This in it itself is a small journey within our creative journey. Once you have uncovered this you have a foundation for fresh ideas and a platform for experimentation that will keep you motivated and not give up or become discouraged. Find a quiet place now and relax as you think about what are your passions.

2. Begin with the end in mind

You need to have some ideas about what you want to achieve through you creativity. Have an understanding of what you want to create in your images. If you can't see something in your mind's eye and have no idea of what you want to achieve, you are lost before you begin. This is where the help of the masters comes in. Get inspiration but don't copy. There is a difference between copying someone else's work and being inspired by it. Allow it to get you excited and driven to take images of similar quality and beauty. Let them give you ideas and understanding of their techniques and methods of composition. They should motivate you to go out and shoot.

3. Take time out and take your time

So often we want to do something and do it now and have the results now. Instant gratification is one of the great warts of life in this modern age. We want to be creative and we want it now. Creativity takes time and conscious effort to develop. It doesn't just happen over night. Think about the possibilities for a good composition and imagine the various possibilities, angles, colours and perspectives. Get away from the hustle and bustle and find a place that makes you feel good about yourself and where you can enjoy the moment. Many artists have a place where they go to for inspiration.

4. Choose an inspirational location or setting

To help your creativity, find a place that inspires you. If you love old buildings then find a location that has many of them. If you love flowers and insects go to a botanical garden. Whatever it is, find it and go there. And, leave your camera at home. Yes, don't take it with you. You need to experience the environment, imbibe the atmosphere and just observe. We are so tempted to start taking pictures and by doing this we miss the moment and get to involved with technical issues before we are inspired.

5. Think, observe and let your creativity run wild

Walk around, sit down or lie down in you chosen location. Observe your surroundings carefully and look for opportunities. Look at the different angles. Carefully examine colours and shapes. Look for lines and repeated patterns. Observe how the light falls on an object and the direction of the shadows. Look for details you haven't seen before. All these factors play a part in your journey of creativity.

Once you have been through these five steps you are starting to get to a point from which your creative ideas can start to flow. Creativity cannot be rushed. It's like the flow of honey from a jar, slow and sweet and once you've tasted it you'll never forget it. You have to create an environment for it to begin. This is a learned process and cannot be crowded by the everyday hustle and bustle and concerns of life. We all have creativity within us but we need to create the setting that will coax it out. Once you discover this, there will be no end to the exciting images you will be able to create.

I would check the power save settings on your machine. Some computers will "turn off" the video if there is no activity after a few minutes. The quickest way to check this is to move the mouse or keyboard. If video returns then it is the settings in the control panel.

In this article I'll be giving you make up advice on how to choose the mascara that best suits your preference and the latest trends.

Mascara makeup does not only add color to your eyelashes, but also volume. It lengthens and separates your eyelashes and can be water resistant. You need to choose depending on the effect intended. It's important to choose the right color, black, brown or blue nearly always being the most appropriate. But we must point out the existence of purple, violet and green mascaras as well. It's important to apply mascara from the roots and from the lachrymal out in a zig-zag motion. This will give eyelashes more volume. Lower eyelashes are made up with short movements out from the root.

Water Proof

There are several different types of magic in the world of Runescape. Which branch of powerful spells a player uses depends on several things. Ancient Magicks can only be used by players who pay the monthly membership fee, and even then, they must complete the Desert Treasure quest. Players may only use one type of magick at a time.

Players gain access to the Ancient Magicks by praying inside the pyramid. Once they do so, they can use Ancient Magicks but not normal spells—they have to pray again to switch back. Praying drains away all of a player's prayer points. Note that the first time a player travels through the pyramid; they must go through the entire area. However, once they reach the altar, they'll gain the ability to use the shortcut to get directly to the altar from outside, saving a lot of time.

Types of Ancient Magicks

Ancient Magicks come in two types: teleport spells and damage spells. Spells can also be broken down by element. A few spells have restrictions on them. For example, Miasmic spells can only be cast by players who have Zuriel's Staff equipped.

» Blood spells heal the player and damage the enemy.
» Ice spells freeze and hurt the target.
» Shadow spells damage the target and lower their attack power.
» Smoke spells damage and poison the target.
» Miasmic spells damage the target and lowers its melee and ranged attack power.

There are also four different classes of spells:

Rush spells do high damage to a single target.
Blitz spells do very high damage to a single target.
Burst spells do high damage to enemies in a 3 x 3 area.
Barrage spells do very high damage to all enemies in a 3 x 3 area.

Ancient Magick Spells

Players can open their spell books to view all of the Ancient Magick spells that they know. These spells use more runes than normal spells, so players should be careful about using Ancient Magick over and over. These magicks do give experience like normal spells, plus players receive two magic experience for each point of damage they do with Ancient Magick spells.
Some of the Ancient Magick spells are listed below.
Home Teleport – teleports the player to Edgeville. No runes are required for this teleport spell, but players can only cast it once every 30 minutes.

Shadow Rush – lowers an enemy's attack by 10% plus does damage.
Ice Rush – Damages the enemy and freezes it for five seconds.
Smoke Burst – Poisons the enemy.
Blood Burst – Heals the player for 25% of the damage done to the enemy.
Miasmic Burst – Slows all ranged and melee attacks by half for 24 seconds.

The Ancient Staff

Players don't have to equip the ancient staff to use Ancient Magicks, but it certainly helps. It is the only item in the game that can auto cast Ancient Magicks, plus it provides a very nice +15 bonus to magic attacks. Players must first buy the ancient staff from Eblis for 80,000 gold pieces. Once they have purchased one, they can get another ancient staff by killing mummies in the ancients pyramid.

Ancient Magick Uses

One nice thing about all Burst and Barrage spells is that they can hit more than one enemy. This works very well in certain areas or while Player Killing on a team. They can also be a great way of training since you'll get experience for each target hit.

Ancient Magicks are perhaps the most useful when used while killing other players in Bounty Hunter and the mini-games. Ice spells freeze and damage the target, allowing players to stay far away from their targets while casting spells at them. In fact, if a player's opponent doesn't use any ranged or magic attacks, freezing them in place effectively makes them trapped without any way of inflicting damage or escaping. Likewise, the Miasmic spells can greatly weaken an enemy by cutting their attack power in half. When combined, there is little a melee attack character can do against a master of the Ancient Magicks.

If you have been searching for a way to exercise your "green" thumb jump into this fun and unique world of "vermiculture." or "vermicompost" is an organic gardening process of natural composting using earthworms, known as the Red Wriggler (Eisenia fetida). It is also perfect for small spaces. The worms only need about 1 square foot of surface area to digest each pound of waste material generated per week. Supply your worms with a container, some bedding material, food scraps, and the worms do the rest.

They consume food scraps, hair, and dust reducing organic waste by 25% in about 60 days; and produce worm castings, which contain the richest form of fertilizer known to man. Concentrated worm castings are very potent fertilizers and must be mixed with potting soil or water to dilute the concentration. Worm castings promote higher than average growth in plants and are rich in phosphorus, nitrogen, and trace minerals.

To start your new worm venture you will need the following supplies:

Compost Bins

Worms

Oh and of course, don't forget the worms, Red Wrigglers or Red Worms (tolerate a wide range of environmental conditions) and/or Night Crawlers (feed on deeper parts of the bin) will do the job. A mixture of the two will create rich and abundant worm castings.

Bedding

After you have made or purchased a compost bin, you can fill it with bedding. The worms prefer a cool, moist, but well-ventilated, dark environment between 50 and 80 degrees. Worms shun light and are photophobic—they shun both sun and artificial light, burrowing as deep as they can to flee the light. Heat and sunlight will dehydrate the little Wrigglers and all you'll end up are "fried" worms.

The bedding material can be peat moss, aged manure, sawdust, dried grass clippings, hay, garden loam, coir (coconut fiber), straw, damp newspaper, Hessian, cotton rags, aged horse/cow manure (fresh manure heats up) shredded cardboard, newspaper, grocery bags, and most types of shredded leaves. Oak and other highly acidic leaves are not recommended since these worms don't like an acidic environment. Stay clear of inked and glossy papers, since they contain toxic substances which can exterminate your Wrigglers.

Keep in mind the worms have a hearty appetite and will eat whatever is put in front of them, including the bedding.

Feeding

Worms will eat ½ their weight of food each day. Be careful to not overfeed your worms. Like you feed your family, only feed them once they have partly eaten their previous food. This means no desert before dinner. Worms lack teeth and prefer their food mashed, chopped or pureed.

Worms need a variety of foods, and greatly appreciate a well-rounded diet. Worms will happily consume fruit and vegetable scraps/peels (except citrus fruit, onion, garlic and chilies), tea bags/tea leaves, coffee grounds and filters, crushed eggshells, newspaper, cardboard, egg cartons and shredded/soaked pizza boxes, old flowers and small amounts of garden waste, pasta, rice, wet bread & cereal, hair and small amounts of dust from vacuum cleaner. Avoid onions, garlic, citrus, dairy products, seafood, meat, oil, and pet droppings, or the wrigglers will run for the hills.

Worms

The Red Wrigglers are the hardiest, fastest reproducers of the vermin culture world they efficiently gobble up waste and create worm castings. Well-fed worms reproduce even faster, at an alarming rate. They double there population in 3-4 months. Young red worms are a shade of white but turn red at maturity.

Harvesting Worm Castings

Harvesting the compost is easy, just push the bedding and worms to one end of the box and fill the other end with fresh bedding and table scraps. Within a few weeks, the worms will munch their way over to the fresh food and you can scoop out the compost from the deserted side of the bin.

With commercial vermi culture compost bins, the work is done for you; just collect worm casts from the bottom trays, and fill the top trays with food.

If you find that cultivating worms and worm castings are not your thing, you could always take the day off and hang a sign on the worm bin that says "Gone Fishin!"
